It is enchanting place to stay, the food is great, and location is marvellous very close to the train station so easily accessible. The stuff are affable, managed the parking on site. The service is great, includes overnight parking. Happy to have free coffee in the foyer...

The staff were very helpful and attentive from the moment we arrived. Our room was modern, tidy, with excellent beds, tasteful decorations, and toiletries. -We had a wonderful breakfast with fresh local ingredients; loved the meal.

Clean and comfortable room and the staff was really helpful. One down side could be the price. at 1300 yen without breakfast it is slightly pricey but the location is great and breadfast start at 0530 am so good for ctaching the first ferry out to the islands.

I had initially planned to spend only my last of three nights in the Dormy Inn, Wakkanai. I was planning to travel to Sapporo for two nights. However, when I went to purchase my train ticket, I was informed that all trains, planes and buses had been cancelled due to a hurricane warning. I went immediately to the Dormy Inn and, not only did they find me a room for three nights, but they also charged me the much reduced "internet" price that I had previously booked. Very friendly staff, great location and extremely comfortable room. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. And the free lan internet (in your room) is a definite plus.

I have only one complaint, albeit a small one. There was no in-room safe. The majority of the hotels that I stay (similar rating to the Dormy Inn) provide this amenity.

The rooms here are practical and come with everything you need, the beds are really comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional, and you can conveniently park your car here too.

No armchairs in front reception when waiting for the train to depart at 1.45pm. I sat at a table in dining room but it was rather cold.

We had a wonderful stay at a conveniently located hotel near JR Wakkanai Station. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the bathroom. The onsen facility on the top floor was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
